Nintex Workflow runs into Timeout


Symptom


You're accessing Collaboration Manager Web Service through Nintex workflow engine. Action fails with error "Timeout" when creating a Site Collection using CreateWorkspaceFromTemplate. 



Cause


- The Site Collection doesn't get created within one minute (very likely)

- Error Handling in the workflow is turned off



Solution


Edit your Nintex workflow action (see "Nintex CM Workflow.png")

Set "Capture Errors" to "Yes"

In advanced configuration scenarios you could store the error in a variable can add additional wait time if the Timeout occurs.
